My meanderings about politics, space exploration, cars, cats, tech things and whatever else strikes my fancy. To the current occupant of the White House, we will not be taken into war on anyone's leash.
Follow the money, that’s the Mantra of prosecutors when they’re looking at Rico cases. Well when you have the Trump crime family in the white house we have a giant RICO case.
26 million dollars of the Inaugural Committee funds went to the first ladies friend who then became a member of her staff. Money came from Saudi Arabia who wants to become a nuclear power. Money came from all different sources including Russia to the inaugural and where did the money go?
Speaking of the money where did all the money go that was paid to Michael Cohen? Why would he need to take a second mortgage on his in-laws house when he had all this money coming in? It’s a big mystery.
Everyone keeps saying what a great attorney or Stephanie Clifford has. And that’s true. But more importantly is the fact that she knew to pick him. There’s much more to her then the new year would want you to know. She’s astute and he’s letting her attorney talk and was very measured in her interview on 60 Minutes. The interview on 60 Minutes was very ballyhooed but in fact she said very little new.
Stephanie Clifford or Stormy Daniels is very smart and I think the media should be giving her more credit.
The Republican party has taken an unending March into moral depravity. When you hear evengelical leaders defend a sitting president having an affair with a pornstar by saying we don’t have a perfect president you know there’s something wrong with their values. What happened to the party of moral values? I can give you one main answer, Mitch McConnell. Mitch McConnell has been the architect of so many underhanded deals including stonewalling President Obama and his nominee to be a Supreme Court Justice. Changing the rules of the Senate at his whim. And yes, the Democratic party has not been there to defend us as well as they should. I know the Democrats love to say when they go low we go high but at this point I wonder whether or not we are being too nice.
I hope that the Republicans in the country will understand that this is a terrible path for our country. They are ignoring an attack by the Russians on our electoral system for their own political gain. This idea of fake news is disgusting to me. Attacking our judicial system and the agencies that protect us like the FBI and the justice department is intolerable. We must say enough is enough.
It’s amazing how transparent the GOP has become. I would love to play a game of chicken with them. Having been shamed by Senator Dianne Feinstein and her courageous release of the Senate interview of Fusion GPS founder now they release their interview. The fake news that the Fusion GPS dossier was paid for Hillary Clinton is a misnomer. Originally it was contracted by a republican opponent of trump. When Trump won the nomination, I am so sad to say, at that point the Fusion GPS people shopped it to the Hillary campaign. I wish we could get this story straight but as with everything in this White House that lies 5.6 times a day the truth is out there but not coming from the White House.
Let’s face it, white nationalist, neo-nazis and the alt-right feel they have one the election. And in fact they are right. They now have an ally in the White House in Donald Trump. This has fueled they’re coming out of the closet as it were. Hate crime since the election are up 500%. Middle school kids are hanging nooses and restrooms. What these children are hearing at home is going to spread across our country. You know we look at Germany in the thirties and don’t understand how people could become mesmerised by such a hateful rhetoric. And here we are supposedly the greatest country ever falling into that same trap.
If this does not invalidate an election nothing can. Russia put his finger on the scale and made Trump president for their own purposes. Our country needs to address this and correct this mistake. It is now President of Russia Putin’s world.
Even if we are to believe the polls, and I do not, these two presidential candidates are the most unpopular nominees in a generation. What has to be remembered is that people on the most part vote with the economy. If you look at the chart you’ll see that both Democrats and independents more importantly think the economy is doing well. Only Republicans think that the economy is doing badly. The Republicans live in a world of Fox News and they are told bad economic news day in Day Out. The rest of us live in the real world and see all of the cranes in the sky building new buildings in our cities, businesses opening and for the first time in a long time people are secure in their job and I truly believe they can find a better one if they wanted to. So yes right now seems a little bit dark for Hillary but people want to continue the upward trend of the economy. One would then ask why did Al Gore lose. Although I supported him and work hard on his campaign he did separate himself as much as he could from the President Clinton and more importantly President Clinton’s incredible economic Legacy. Hillary on the other hand has embraced President Obama and will have the president on the ground in key States making her case.
One has to wonder if Donald Trump plans to charge Mexico for the trip. For a man who claims he doesn’t want to pivot towards a more presidential temperament he sure is trying every trick in the book. This is so obvious that it won’t work. Also this has to be angering his alt-right or white supremacist base. In any case one cannot say that Donald Trump has not made for an interesting campaign. I just wish it would be over and he was gone out of our lives. Unfortunately, I don’t think that he’ll disappear like Romney did after the election.
Once again a great show. One of the funny parts of this show was the fact that Donald Trump has appointed as his co-chair for the Jefferson County Colorado area, which includes Denver suburbs, a 12 year old boy. It turns out that Donald Trump saw this young man at one of his rallies and just had to have him. Yes, the kids for Trump of Jefferson County chairman is now the co-chair of the Jefferson County Colorado Trump for president campaign. A 12 year old boy.
The new hire that is spoken about in thoe title of this piece is the new CEO of the Trump campaign formerly from breitbart.com. it seems that he has made it a career of removing from office Republican hierarchy. He was instrumental in getting rid of Eric Cantor, John Boehner and tried to get rid of, in a very failed, attempt Paul Ryan. This would not be news if it were not for the fact that Donald Trump has repeatedly said that he’s going to let the RNC run his campaign. This is the author of The Art of the deal and he brings in an anti-establishment figure like the former founder of breitbart.com? It’s not the way deals are usually made. You get more flies with honey than with vinegar. If this is the way Donald Trump plans to run the country I don’t want him anywhere near the White House. His campaign is a mess. His campaign is a joke. But campaigns in America play a more important role than in most countries. In fact campaigns have become a giant interview by the people for the gentleman or lady running for president. And Donald Trump is failing that interview terribly and it shows in the polls. I don’t see what vested interest the RNC has in getting Donald Trump to be president. Weirdly the RNC has raised less money than the Democrats this last month. During presidential campaigns is when the RNC feels his coffers with money. It’s not happening this year and it’s not happening because of Donald Trump.
