My meanderings about politics, space exploration, cars, cats, tech things and whatever else strikes my fancy. To the current occupant of the White House, we will not be taken into war on anyone's leash.
After being on the roster for a speech on Monday night of the Democratic National Convention comma Elizabeth Warren is no longer on the speaking list. I doubt it’s because she has lost favor with Hillary Clinton. I think it’s because Hillary is truly considering her to be named her vice presidential running mate.
I know there are pros and cons to Elizabeth Warren on the ticket. But I think the pros outweigh the cons. She will solidify the progressive side of the democratic party for Hillary. And let’s face it we need the women’s vote to come out inforce. Donald Trump picking Mike Pence as his VP makes things quite clear two women. You’re not our priority is being yelled at women from the Republican ticket, in fact we want control of your body is what they’re saying. Reading tea leaves is not my forte butt if one were to guess Elizabeth Warren is still in the running for VP.
I know that this may fuel speculation that Elizabeth Warren is going to be Hillary’s vice presidential pick. I don’t think she chosen as Hillary’s vice president. I have many reasons why I think that she is not going to be chosen and as far as I’m concerned this visit today kind of cements that. I love Elizabeth Warren and I think she’s going to be amazing for Hillary on the campaign Trail this next 5 months. If Hillary can Wage War on several fronts with Trump it will make him less effective. I really think that she really loves our country and in the end is going to pick someone that is already well trained to be the president of the United States. There is no such training but having experience in foreign affairs is very important. So the speculation will go on and this is the fun part of politics. Donald Trump picked a fight with the wrong person. Senator Warren is going to go after him like a champion. Between her going after his character and Hillary showing that he’s not capable or with the right character to be the president of the United States and the commander-in-chief, Trump does not have the PR capabilities in his campaign to counterpunch as he likes to say. His main press secretary makes no sense but then of course she works for someone who makes no sense. Caribe he makes the Republicans hold their nose as they say they are supporting him. The article says that Hillary Clinton is looking for an attack dog for her vice-presidential nomination. I resent that for two reasons. One Hillary Clinton is looking for someone who can take over from her, sure there’s going to be some politics involved but I think she looks for the country’s best interests first. Second to call Elizabeth Warren and attack dog is belittling. I think she can do a great job from the sidelines just as she’s proved over the weekend with Goofy Trump. Let’s keep the fight going for 6 months and make sure that this mad man gets nowhere near the White House. AVB http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/10/us/politics/elizabeth-warren-donald-trump.html
Unfortunately it is unlikely that Senator Warren would be tapped to be Hillary Clinton’s vice president. If she became vice president then she would have to resign her senate seat. The governor of Massachusetts is a Republican and he would choose a republican replacement losing the seat for the Democrats. Elizabeth Warren is playing the long game and if the sentence goes democratic she will have much power to shape the agenda of how the Senate votes and decides on which bills will be taken up. So I think it’s a pipe dream to think that Elizabeth Warren is going to be Hillary Clinton’s Vice Presidential nominee butt she has a great future in the Senate and perhaps Beyond.
