House Republicans Offer Collective Shrug To Trump Foundation Self-Dealing – Huffington Post

I know for a group of individuals that seem to be hell-bent on finding out everything that’s wrong about Hillary Clinton and there is nothing, they seem to be completely uninterested of the ills of their crooked nominee. At first it was comical. He bought himself a Tim Tebow autographed helmet to do his hair. He bought himself a six foot painting that’s hanging in Doral Country Club. All with other people’s money. OPM is one of the things that Donald Trump loves to say, OPM is other people’s money. But then came the case of a gentleman who played on one of his golf courses and it seems at the 15th hole if you were able to get a hole in one you would get a million dollars donated to your favorite charity. Well this gentleman actually did it but when he went to collect the prize for his charity he was told that the tea was not a hundred fifty yards as was required by the policy that would pay this when was 139 yards. But the design of the course was under the control of Donald Trump and his associates. So this is kind of like one of those carnival games that you cannot win and if you do they say you cheated. This man had some wealth and filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump. The settlement said that Donald Trump was to pay this gentleman’s favorite charity $124,000. But Donald Trump had the check cut from his foundation which is don’t forget OPM. I won’t say that we should lock him up as he says about Hillary but I think we should bring charges against him and I think that his foundation should be stripped of its tax privileges.

So Republicans who are so worried about a foundation that saves lives why aren’t you looking into one that gives out bribes and steals money and brags that it’s other people’s money?

Kasich: Trump Jr. called aide to float VP offer – CNN

My takeaway is clear from this. If John Kasich was offered the VP and running all foreign and domestic policy in the government, why would we not think the same deal was given to Mike Pence? And that’s a scary thought. Mike Pence is ultra-conservative and very religious. Forget about gay and lesbian rights they’re gone. Forget about the right of a woman to have control over her body, that’s gone. And the list goes on and on and on.

Are we picking a president or a more powerful vice president? I think we learned about the president in the shadows under Dick Cheney. I don’t want to go back to that and I don’t think our country wants to go back to that. When the president doesn’t make decisions then we have no recourse as a people.

In a Donald Trump Administration, will he or Mike Pence be president?

DNC to offer Sanders a convention concession – The Washington Post

I know that the hashtag Bernie lost me is trending on Twitter. I also know that he has a lot of supporters that we need to bring into the Democratic party’s nominee for the presidency. That being said I have not seen that Bernie Sanders has been very considerate or even amicable to the Democratic party. I hope the Democratic Party gives him some of what he needs but not enough to change the party forever.
Chris Matthews kept asking one of his supporters and representative at the Nevada convention if there was some compromise to be had. She showed no wiggle room for compromise. Each time he brought up getting rid of the Caucasus she deflected and said that we needed to bring an end to these superdelegates. And he said well that’s how you compromise and she refused to go along. Now I know she doesn’t speak for Senator Sanders but he appointed her his spokesperson and therefore I have to think that she understands how he feels. Without compromise I don’t think the Democratic party should give Senator Sanders concessions this early in the game.
