My meanderings about politics, LGBTQI COMMUNITY, space exploration, cars, cats, tech things and whatever else strikes my fancy. To the current occupant of the White House, we will not be taken into war on anyone's leash.
I’ll be honest I did not watch the whole interview but the part that I did watch made me think that he was lying through his teeth. I know hindsight is 20/20 but it’s how I felt when I watched it. I thought the tears were phony and his whole storyline made no sense. Just as Robin Roberts said why would you not give up your phone when you are being threatened by two big guys. Your an actor on a successful television program and you can’t afford to get a new phone and it’s worth being injured for it? It didn’t make sense then and now we know it was not true.
Look as a gay man I wanted to believe him. But there were too many holes in the story. one more thing, if someone put a noose around my neck, I certainly would not walk around Chicago with it there and would have figured out a way of hiding it until I got to the hospital. But he did not he wore it all the way to the hospital.
I’ve said this before on this blog. What he did hurts every single person who has been, or will be a target of a hate crime. That’s all I can say at this point without getting angry.
I honestly believe that this white house does not understand that there is an internet, or even if they’re understanding of how information is processed in our Modern Age. Leaking dubious questions about the investigation by the special counsel from the White House is making George Washington spin in his grave. His White House is corrupt to the core. It corrupts everything it touches that’s why we see all of these cabinet secretaries leave in a walk of shame.
Robert Mueller investigation has been watertight. Why would he or his people leaked the questions they’re going to be asking the president? There’s nothing to gain on their part and why would they break such a tight seal that they’ve had on this investigation from the beginning.
Now you add this new allegation that the white house sold anti aircraft missiles to Ukraine to stop them from cooperating with the special counsel. Again do they not realize that there is an internet and that all transactions are recorded and we will see this eventually? I am so tired of the daily barrage of scandals coming out of this White House. I so wish to go back to the days of President Obama where we had a government that work for the people and not for themselves.
And just one more thing, he wrote his own letter regarding his health during the election. He made Hillary Clinton’s health and issue while he was lying about his own.
When I was a little kid I remember a movie that scared me and the rest of the country, The Manchurian Candidate. In that movie, a foreign power implants an individual in our country who rises the power as they’re pawn. Donald Trump may not be the product of any one country in its attempt to take over the United States but in fact he is a 21st century Manchurian Candidate. His rapid fire series of lies and deception has rendered the media impotent. His followers, and I say followers and not supporters, are entranced and cannot see his unsuitability to be president of the United States and commander-in-chief. It has become obvious that he does not believe in anything but Donald Trump. He will say and do anything for power. He lies continuously. His lack of knowledge is immense. He keeps saying that we pulled out of Iraq too early because of Barack Obama. The deal to pull out of Iraq was signed by George Bush and Dick Cheney before they left office. President Obama had no choice but to honor the treaty. He says we should have gone for the oil in a wreck. I recall Dick Cheney saying the same words and during the Bush Administration the price of oil skyrocketed. He says he would have killed Bin Laden faster than President Obama. He forgets that Bin Laden was not touched during the eight years of the Bush Administration. And that takes me to his Republican brethren. Paul Ryan not willing to say that the man is not suited to be our president. John McCain who he insulted still supports him. And the list goes on and on. I believe the American people are smart and we’ll make the right choice in the end. What I fear, is that this man, this plague on our country will not fade into the background the way Mitt Romney did after the election. I’m afraid that I will have to listen to that squeaky voice for the rest of my life. I’m afraid that he has tainted a generation.
