MAGA Bomber Cesar Sayoc’s Lawyers Blame Trump, Sean Hannity for His Radicalization – The daily beast

Is it me or is it a right-wing thing to blame others for your actions. I am 65 years old. I live alone with two cats. most of my friends unfortunately have passed away or have drifted away. My closest relatives are in France. And yet here I am not blaming anyone else for where I am. I watch as much MSNBC as my cats will allow and post to my block almost daily. I keep informed but I also keep an open mind.

Reading through mister Sayoc’s pleading is rather telling. He blames being on steroids and living in a camper for his alleged crimes although he’s pled guilty so we may want to drop the word alleged. And now in a Shakespearean turn he is blaming Trump and Hannity for his dilemma or at least that’s what his attorneys are claiming.

As far as I can see there have not been a lot of violent Acts attributed to the left side of the political spectrum. Remember Charlottesville that was another right-wing nut who ran over I’m innocent protester.

I have a theory about people in general. Having lived in large buildings all my life I’ve learned that about a quarter of the population veers towards the insane or at least pretty cray cray. And I venture of that 25%, 23.99% of them are Trump supporters, no scientific backing for what I’m saying it’s just my opinion.

Leaked Documents Allege the NRA Has Been Spending $100,000 a Day on Lawyers – Slate

I’m a blogger, not an investigative reporter. But I’ve got a good sense for numbers. So let’s see 35 million dollars a year on lawyers, 42 million dollars a year to an advertising agency, 60 million dollars towards the campaign of Donald Trump. that’s a lot of money for one nonprofit organization!

The NRA went from a gun safety organization to an organization that protects mass murders and their perpetrators.

the NRA and gun rights organizations in the US love to say that their rights are inalienable under the second amendment. Have we ever looked at the wording of the second amendment? The first words are a “well regulated militia”, regulations are in the first few words of the amendment. It was never meant to be an all out flooding of the market with high capacity and armor piercing bullets. Military-style weapons should be in the hands of the military. their arguments make as much sense as saying that we all have the right to have our own private nuclear Arsenal.

And as far as these leaked documents, they’re coming from Oliver North, one of the sleaziest people that we have had to deal with since the Reagan Era. He was the guy who sold weapons 2 hide from Congress the funding of an illegal act. Wayne LaPierre you go to bed with dogs you’re going to wake up covered in fleas.

The NRA has become a merchant of death and a very corrupt one at that.

Manafort’s lawyers taunt Mueller for not tying him to Russian interference in 2016 election – CNNPolitics

First a little bit of editorial comment.

Bravo CNN, once again you prove to be anything but the leader in news. Instead of showing disc traders mugshot you instead show him with Cadillacs in the background. I’m not doing that. So mugshot it is.

Mr. Manafort when you signed the plea agreement with the special council you waived your rights to plead for a lighter sentence. You agreed that if you did not meet the requirements are the plea agreement that the book would be thrown at you. If I had my way I would throw the whole library at you. Your traitor and saying that you were trying to make these bad people better did not work out. everyone that you did business with was a bad person and they remain bad to the core and were thrown out of office except for Putin who is your good friend.

your plea agreement clearly stated that you are not to do anything illegal while you are waiting for sentencing. I guess a criminal to the Core cannot stop himself. So a life sentence is I hope what you are going to get.

Traitor!

Trump’s Lawyers, in Confidential Memo, Argue to Head Off a Historic Subpoena – The New York Times

For a failing newspaper the New York Times sure has it’s shit together while probing deep into this dark and brooding White House. Let’s face it these are not confidential memos but rather Public Relation documents put out so that when they try to say the president is above the law they can point to these false documents and say look here it is.

Representative Adam Schiff of California said it best, this President, no president is above the law. And Donald Trump above them all it’s certainly not above the law. He and his corrupt family have infested the White House like roaches or termites. There will be a cleansing and just like Jimmy Carter came after Nixon an unlikely president will be our next leader. Who would have thought that the Great and Mighty Nixon would be replaced by a peanut farmer from Plains Georgia. Basically an unknown quantity on the political scene and yet he became president.

I watched Bernie Sanders last night on Bill Maher. I was not and have not been a Bernie Sanders supporter. I was all in for Hillary Clinton from the beginning hell I was all in for Hillary Clinton in 2008 until she withdrew her candidacy. And as much as I think that nominating someone of my own faith, a Jew, is a mistake I guess the same thing could have been said about nominating Barack Obama, an African American. Bernie makes sense for these times and if we’re going to Unite the Democrats we need to do it with someone who doesn’t seem bought in any way shape or form and Bernie Sanders is that. I never thought I would say this.

Just one more thing, just in case you think he’s got a great legal team, they cited the wrong federal statute for obstruction of justice in this so-called confidential memo.
