My meanderings about politics, LGBTQ COMMUNITY, space exploration, cars, cats, tech things and whatever else strikes my fancy. To the current occupant of the White House, we will not be taken into war on anyone's leash.
Wow, the Network that has made its claim to fame over the moniker fake news actually had fake news on its own broadcast just like it does every day. This one was so blatant that they had to come out and say “we’re sorry”. In actuality the graphic that showed Trump’s approval rating at 55% was Trump’s disapproval rating. His actual approval rating is steady at 43% even though Attorney General Barr put out a false summary vindicating Trump. The Mueller team was quick and explaining that they’d never vindicated Trump or said that he was not guilty of anything and yet this Roy Cohn Attorney General was lying through his teeth to the American people.
sure we elected Trump not by a majority of the votes but through a stupid system called The electoral college. The American people may have made that mistake but they see what’s happening and we’ll vote this man out of office unless the Republicans cheat like they always do
Over the last few Decades of the Trump White House, or so it seems, we have seen many spectacles. Today was one of the best or the worst. First this President wanted to Rebrand NAFTA by renaming it and essentially not having anything changed about it and organized a phone call with the outgoing Mexican president. This white house is so incompetent they cannot orchestrate a White House call tour foreign leader on camera. I don’t like Trump, but I was embarrassed for him and our country.
Then after this photo shoot, he was repeatedly asked to talk about Senator McCain. Then after meeting with another foreign dignitary he was repeatedly asked to talk about Senator McCain. And then again after some other White House Event he was repeatedly asked to speak about Senator McCain and each time he said nothing. And that stupid face that he makes when he doesn’t want to say something. Very much like the one when they ask them on air force one about the payments by Michael Cohen to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal.
The legacy of this presidency is going to be that he has embarrassed Us in the eyes of the world. We look benign and weak and pathetic. Thank you so much mr. President!
Other than the Native Americans we are all immigrants in this country. Sure some of us will Trace Our Roots back to the pilgrims but that doesn’t make us anymore or any less an immigrant. This white house has had a pervasive hatred for those who are not of the white race. I don’t care what they say in their press releases it’s their actions that speak louder than words. I commend this decision to reinstate DACA in full.
Don’t you find it a little bit strange that this president has not said anything about the Waffle House shooting? Do you think that if the assailant had had a middle eastern surname this President would not have tweeted about it? Do you think that the fact that this assailant was the member of a white supremacist group is why the White House is so muted? Like I said actions speak louder than words.
This is one of the most Public Power struggles I’ve ever seen within a national political party. For Mitch McConnell to say that Donald Trump obviously doesn’t understand the issues because of his performances in the debates and will need a strong vice president says a lot in one sentence. The new Donald Trump, the more presidential Donald Trump, is boring. In a speech in front of Evangelical leaders today he once again used a teleprompter. He is terrible when using a teleprompter. But then when he opens his mouth in off the cuffs remarks he manages to insult large demographics of our country. I don’t have a crystal ball so I can’t say you to you how the future is going to end up. What I can say is that if you muzzle Donald Trump he becomes boring and loses his appeal. If you let him be himself he insults large groups of the American people. In either case it does not look good but only time will tell.
