Ex-Trump Supporter: I Was ‘Really An Idiot’ to Think He’d Be a Good President – Newsweek

Have you ever bought something once you got home you realized you had been conned? Buyer’s remorse? I guess that’s what a lot of people who for some reason had a weird dislike for Hillary Clinton are feeling after two-and-a-half years of this presidency.

What’s surprising is the number of people willing to say this in public. MSNBC is littered with people including some of their anchors who were Republicans that I yelled at while they served under different in administrations who are now either Independents or straight up Democrats. I don’t think it’s just Trump. I think if you throw into the mix Mitch McConnell and the hypocrisy of a lot of leaders in Congress like Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz you see why people are having their come to Jesus moment.

Trump is a con man. What’s so funnythe word con man that Trump hates so much is becoming synonymous with him on Google searches. Good for yourself, do Trump con man as a search and see what happens.

Today Trump pulled back from the brink of war with Iran. I think he finally realized that he has calmed himself into the presidency and I don’t think he wants that job anymore. Maybe that’s why he is making so many errors including all of these undisciplined interviews across what he called fake news media networks.

Is the Republican party Doom to be on the junk pile of History? Can’t say that. Americans have very short memories case in point is how they are looking with nostalgia upon George HW Bush and his presidency even though he took us into an unnecessary war and was the cause of a near world depression. You put him next to Trump and he looks great.

I’m hoping that this man is not re-elected but until I watch him leave the White House I won’t believe anything about what people are prognosticating.

Dems investigating Trump have a new tactic to break his blockade – POLITICO

Corey Lewandowski, the reason I no longer watch CNN. what a wonderful example of the people that surround the present occupant of the White House. Credibly accused of sexual harassment, lies for the president whenever he can and takes money from what he referred to as the enemy of the people, CNN.

the one thing about this new tactic which annoys me is that it seems to make Trump’s point about the executive privilege. Blanket executive privilege does not exist. So why Congress and the Democrats trying to go around this blanket executive privilege it seems like they are succumbing to his tactics.

If we ever have an impartial Department of Justice in the future I hope that that attorney general will change the rule that a sitting president cannot be indicted or that no indictments can be held until he or she is out of office. This is an untenable situation to have someone in our country, our leader, above the law.

Perhaps for his next act Corey Lewandowski Kim hit someone, never mind he’s already done that.

Infowars host Alex Jones admits Sandy Hook killings were real, blames ‘psychosis’ for his conspiracy claims – USA Today

I’m not a psychiatrist I don’t even play one on TV, but this man and his ability to spread lies and false information is beyond the pale.

We’re at a tipping Point. I truly believe the country is ready to go back to normality. The NRA sent out a four-page fundraising letter a couple of days ago saying that they’re about to go bankrupt. I hope that they go bankrupt because they’re morally bankrupt. We see that even the Supreme Court is now siding with gun safety advocates. So one by one we are chipping away at this evil empire which has had a grip on our country. Look I know we’re not New Zealand but they do have a gun loving society. It’s not in their constitution and maybe that’s what we need to change. No not maybe we need to change our Constitution and get rid of the stupid amendment. It was written at a time when the government had muskets and the people had muskets and so if the government went crazythe citizenry had a way to defend itself. I don’t think they envisioned a world where the government has tanks, atomic bombs, cruise missiles and the list goes on. All the AR-15s in the world could not do anything to hold our government accountable. so I don’t understand the need for this amendment anymore.

We have more guns in our country then we have people. I don’t own a gun, I’ve never even held one so to me this is just an illness that needs to be cured.

US Chamber of Commerce criticizes Trump on his attack on American businesses – Reuters

Wendy us Chamber of Commerce attacks are Republican President you know things are going off the rails in the White House.

I can understand why the White House last week had a press conference but redefined press conference has all it was was a ramble from Trump and no questions from the Press. When questions from the Press are asked of this President he lies, there’s no other way to describe it. Yesterday was and barrage of Lies. I love the one where he said he was the toughest presidents on Russia and said that everyone else agreed about it and said look at them nodding yes. No one in the room was nodding yes. It is so embarrassing to watch this man deface the Office of the President United States.

The reason for the statement from the US Chamber of Commerce his of course Amazon and Jeff Bezos. Jeff Bezos owns Amazon and Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post but they are not related. The Washington Post has said that Jeff Bezos does not have input on editorial content. Further the post office said that day find the business relationship they have with Amazon to be lucrative and not a money-losing proposition as the president miss stated in his press conference. Enough of these lies, they don’t stop. The Washington Post fact-checker said that he lies about 7 times a day. If President Obama had lied 7 times in a year the Republicans would have been calling for impeachment. This kind of behavior is not what we expect from the White House

“Who Needs a Controversy Over the Inauguration?”: Reince Priebus Opens Up About His Six Months of Magical Thinking – Vanity Fair

If you’re Sean Spicer you go on Saturday Night Live and make fun of yourself. I guess if you’re reince priebus you go on Vanity Fair and call it the year of magical thinking. In my opinion they both are as guilty as Sin. They helped this President get elected and now has a Stranglehold on our country. All the articles in Vanity Fair or appearances on Saturday Night Live will not wash away their sins, to me they just augment them. How cynical they are thinking they can redeem themselves by telling on the person they swore an allegiance to serve. They are the worst of the worst.

This is the portrait of Donald Trump that his charity bought for $20,000 – The Washington Post

I hope that NBC likes the portrait since they paid for it. It came out of the Trump foundations covers which have not been replenished by Trump’s own money since 2008. It seems that in order to make Donald Trump look better on his show The Apprentice and BC gave his foundation and half a million dollars so that he could look generous when he fired people. Hand I guess he thought that a giant portrait of himself would not be too much and that’s where Donald Trump is different from everybody else.

Donald Trump faces his election fate – POLITICO

If Donald Trump loses the election will he show the same character that he has throughout this election?

Will he put his own ego ahead of the good of the country?

I pray not butt his rhetoric is stoking fires in people’s minds that are going to be hard to extinguish. He has tried to say that the results of the election will not be legitimate or rigged as he says it. What we as Clinton supporters must do is convinced every single one of those 15% that are still undecided that this is an election they must vote in and vote for Hillary Clinton.

Hannity with his $29 million salary and private jet slams ‘overpaid’ media elites – The Washington Post

Now I understand why Donald Trump went directly to Sean Hannity before actually talking to any journalists after the debate. They are birds of a feather. Both are hypocrites.

His long con: Trump’s lie about the Iraq War is just an excerpt of a greater deception – Salon.com

When I was a little kid I remember a movie that scared me and the rest of the country, The Manchurian Candidate. In that movie, a foreign power implants an individual in our country who rises the power as they’re pawn. Donald Trump may not be the product of any one country in its attempt to take over the United States but in fact he is a 21st century Manchurian Candidate. His rapid fire series of lies and deception has rendered the media impotent. His followers, and I say followers and not supporters, are entranced and cannot see his unsuitability to be president of the United States and commander-in-chief. It has become obvious that he does not believe in anything but Donald Trump. He will say and do anything for power. He lies continuously. His lack of knowledge is immense. He keeps saying that we pulled out of Iraq too early because of Barack Obama. The deal to pull out of Iraq was signed by George Bush and Dick Cheney before they left office. President Obama had no choice but to honor the treaty. He says we should have gone for the oil in a wreck. I recall Dick Cheney saying the same words and during the Bush Administration the price of oil skyrocketed. He says he would have killed Bin Laden faster than President Obama. He forgets that Bin Laden was not touched during the eight years of the Bush Administration. And that takes me to his Republican brethren. Paul Ryan not willing to say that the man is not suited to be our president. John McCain who he insulted still supports him. And the list goes on and on. I believe the American people are smart and we’ll make the right choice in the end. What I fear, is that this man, this plague on our country will not fade into the background the way Mitt Romney did after the election. I’m afraid that I will have to listen to that squeaky voice for the rest of my life. I’m afraid that he has tainted a generation.
