WATERGATE’S JOHN DEAN MOCKS DONALD TRUMP OVER MUELLER REPORT: ‘WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU READ 400 PAGES PLUS OF ANYTHING’ – Newsweek

Although Michael Cohen has never had a job in the white house because of the weird nature of trumps businesses he is as close to John Dean of Watergate as we can come to today.

John Dean is absolutely correct in his assessment of the current occupant of the White House’s ability to read books or anything for that matter. He seems to have a problem with even a teleprompter. So to think that he would read 400 pages of what must be for the most part of very dry document, I don’t think so.

Trump now claims that he could read the report anytime he wanted to because he’s President. That may be true but it’s 400 pages!honestly I think the four pages of Pulp fiction that attorney general Barr put out 3 weeks ago is even too long for this President. He would need the cliff notes of the bar four-page memo and even at that I don’t think he’d have the attention span to read it all.

It’s amazing now that Barr has told him what is in the report, Trump no longer thinks we should see it. I think that may be a bit suspicious and I’m not alone. He didn’t get a single bump up in the polls after his fake Victory lap that he did prior to us finding out more about the Mueller report. I don’t know when it will come out but it will come out before the election. Trump thinks he has an ace in the Supreme Court. He did not appoint chief justice Roberts who does not want to make the Supreme Court a political tool of the executive branch. So I think that chief justice Roberts is going to do the right thing. If he votes with the for liberals then we will see the report and I truly believe that Congress is going to expedite this all the way up to the Supreme Court as quickly as possible. It’s important for the American people to find out everything there is to know about the shenanigans during the 2016 election so they can make an informed decision in 2020.

White House threatens to veto background check bills – TheHill

Threatening to veto a bill is how this corrupt White House makes sure that the turtle, Mitch McConnell doesn’t bring a bill to the floor of the Senate. Mitch McConnell’s application of the power of congress is unprecedented. basically says he won’t bring a bill to the floor of the Senate that the president is going to veto. What the hell?

As the power of the NRA wins I don’t understand the reasoning behind not wanting something that even 72% of NRA members want. We’re not talking about banning weapons. We’re not talking about taking people’s guns away. We’re talking about making sure that people who should not have guns don’t get them. Do we let everyone wants to drive a car drive a car? No. It’s common sense.

Hence the term common Sense gun control.

The blood of the 45,000 people who die each year from gun violence in our country and especially that of the children and the unarmed women is on the hands of the man in the White House and his turtle.

Jeff Bezos accuses National Enquirer owner of ‘extortion and blackmail’ – NBC News

I’ll preface this by saying I am not a fan of Jeff Bezos.

That being said, I’m certainly not a fan of the National enquirer or its parent corporation run by David Pecker. Yes, I used his name because it was funny in a sophomoric way.

I was just talking to a friend of mine about this. I had a caregiver about 3 years ago who was a gay man in his early 60s. He was well-educated and had a career as a character actor in Hollywood. He would take me to the grocery store and as we will check out he would short reading of theheadlines about Hillary Clinton on the cover of the National enquirer and tell mehow this was making him not want to vote for her.

How many others do you think had that same idea in the back of their heads?

78000 in three States?

Yes it’s a tabloid but for some reason people want to believe it’s headlines. Maybe because they’re salacious and people want to think that others have a worse life than they do even if they’re celebrities, especially if they’re celebrities. And to me that’s the danger of this publication. I would never advocate for it to be closed for any reason but it would be really nice if mainstream media would call it out for what it is, a bunch of lies.

Ex-Trump aide: Stephen Miller said he’d be happy if no refugee ever again set foot in US – TheHill

What happened to Stephen Miller that makes him hate people so much? this is the kind of thinking that created at off Hitler. His rabbi did a sermon calling him a terrible person. does he not realize that’s somewhere down the line his family were immigrants? For some reason Miller doesn’t sound like a native American name.

I have an idea let’s deport Stephen Miller.

If you’re like me, and I hope you are, you have been watching SNL almost all your life. So she did you may have seen this little bit from Michael Che talking about Rodger Stone asking black men to bang his wife. this is from the guy who’s been was Roy Cohn who was not gay just like having sex with men. Being a gay man, that sounds very gay to me. All that being said Rodger stone is a freak and if anybody thinks otherwise, I don’t know about you.

Trump Jr. suggests border wall is like a zoo fence – CBS News

This is truly a window into house this unholy family in the White House thinks about people of color. These are human beings and not animals. Heir Don Junior is supposed to be the smart or one of the two brothers running Trump org.

I wonder how much he will like being in a cage himself. when he goes to prison let’s all remind him that it’s nothing more than a fence in a zoo.

The Washington Post: The sad truth about Russian election interference by Robby Mooks

I cannot imagine being Robby Mooks the day after the 2016 election. As Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager and also the youngest campaign manager ever for a national presidential campaign he must have felt incredibly bad. We all felt bad but he has a job of getting her elected.

So this opinion piece is kind of a catharsis for him. He has seen what the special counsel and other prosecutors have put on the table regarding the 2016 election. The Republicans cheated and not only did they cheat but they cheated with Russians. Look I’m used to Republicans cheating, they do so with voter suppression, libertini time for early voting, not allowing elections to be held on a day off for people who work to be able to go and vote without having stress of their jobs, and a host of other things which I’m not going to list. It’s been my experience that Republicans cheat in order to win. Sure Democrats do so as well but not in the grand scale that the Republicans the so-called grand old party uses.

What’s most upsetting to me about the current Republican stand on these election interference is by Russia is that they don’t have a stand. They don’t seem to care. When the shoe will be on the other foot and a country tries to get a democratic candidate into office watch how quickly Republicans will start wanting reforms which will stop this kind of shenanigans. But until then it suits them. They don’t care about our country they care about getting someone else into the Supreme Court so that they can mold the country into their vision of a conservative Utopia.

Obama World lovefest for O’Rourke is growing – TheHill

if the Democrats are going to win the White House in 2020 they must be pragmatic. I think that Beto O’Rourke would fit the mold for a lot of those people who would be uncomfortable, maybe because of their racism, with a person of color at the top of the ticket. I would love to see Carmela Harris as president but I fear that she would polarize the right into Ville coming out in voting and Rose. I believe the right learned our lesson with President Obama and have now mobilized as a feverish voting Bloc. They don’t seem to have Trump fatigue, which baffles me. So yes, a young man, a Kennedy like like figure would be a great choice.

Very unscientific polls of Democrats on Twitter have him in the lead, they don’t work checks a lot of boxes for voters. He’s fully bilingual, he is an amazing speaker and most importantly he makes you feel good when you hear him. And he also tells the truth which would be such a refreshing difference from what we have right now in the White House.

During 2004 Democratic Convention I had some friends over watching the keynote speech by then Senator Obama. After we finished I said he’s going to be our president and everyone in the room started chuckling and told me I was delusional. For some reason, I get the same feeling from Beto O’Rourke.

Christine Blasey Ford speaks out: Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser released a rare statement last week – CBS News

And here we are. Brett Kavanaugh is on the Supreme Court. Clarence Thomas is on the Supreme Court. I cannot imagine what it’s like for the women on the Supreme Court. Having to face these monsters on a daily basis. I don’t care about people saying that they have moved on. These are terrible people and history will judge them poorly. I’m worried that history will judge us poorly.

Clarence Thomas has had a continued abuse of his position on Supreme Court. He refuses to recuse himself in matters that his wife has financial dealings in. It’s corruption, let’s not mince words here.

I shudder at the decisions that these two men in the future. Brett Kavanaugh was on the record saying that the courts should never Grant new rights to people. The cord was always the place where we looked for Justice and now it’s gone for the foreseeable future.

Trump’s late-election rallies weren’t the boon the White House insists they were – The Washington Post

The angry mob of white older people coming to Trump rallies are not sustainable. Regardless of how the election went last week white older people as your base a party is not sustainable. The Democrats have the youth behind them and that’s a headwind for the Republicans. you know they have been saying that the youth both would not be that great and yet they voted. they understand the issues and are well informed and want to make sure that this country is a good place for all and not just for the rich.
