GOP meddles in Democratic nomination with takedown of O’Rourke – POLITICO

Repeat after me

The GOP only win when they cheat

Can you imagine the uproar from a Liz Cheney if we try to meddle in the Republican primary process. Their heads would explode.

Basically this tells us that there are afraid of the field that the Democrats are mounting to take on Trump in 2020. I think they are feeling the fact that there’s going to be a tidal wave, a blue tsunami that will change the political landscape. That’s why you see Mitch McConnell rushing unqualified activist judges on the federal bench. he is trying to fill every vacancy that he left open during President Obama’s presidency. Shame on Mitch McConnell and the Republicans.

Better Angels, an organization I belong to, says one should listen to the other side. I’m listening and I don’t like what I’m hearing.

Sanders faces tough sell in persuading superdelegates to switch allegiances

“Sanders faces tough sell in persuading superdelegates to switch allegiances”, and that is the understatement of this election season. Bernie Sanders has not been a Democrat until he wanted to become president. He claims that he has raised money for 3 Congressional Democrats, wow 3! Someone should explain to him how politics works. You rub my back I’ll rub your back. And Hillary Clinton has been a Democrat since 1964 and has raised this year 15 million dollars for down ticket candidates across the United States. And he thinks he’s going to be able to switch super delegates that count on this money for reelection. Bernie Sanders like his campaign is delusional.

Superdelegates help Clinton expand her lead despite NH loss – The Washington Post

This is our system. The nominee of the Democratic Party gets his nomination or her nomination from a combination of primary delegates and super delegates. Super delegates are delegates that are elected officials and who decide by proxy who they will support. It’s the system of the Democratic Party and it’s the one we’re going to work with.

Clinton Seen as Winner in November; A Trump Presidency Inspires Anxiety (POLL) – ABC News

I so understand my friends who feel the Bern. In 1972, the first time I voted in any election, I voted for George McGovern. George McGovern and ended up winning 1 State: North Dakota.
Over the years there have been some really difficult losses for me and my country. To name a few Nixon against Humphrey, George Bush against Al Gore just to name a few. I think that has made me a pragmatist. I think any one of the three candidates who are running for president in the Democratics late would make a great commander in chief. But I want to vote for the person that I think you win. Some of my readers will know that I am Jewish. That being said, so is Bernie Sanders. And at this point in 2012 Mitt Romney’s religion was front and center. Yet this giant elephant in the room is not being spoken of. Then you add that he calls himself a socialist and in my eyes Bernie Sanders becomes unelectable.
There’s another reason that I’m not supporting Bernie Sanders. I believe that the United States economy is like a super tanker. And if you take a supertanker and make a hard right or a hard left it will most likely capsize. I think we have to make changes in our country but they must be incremental. So I hope that I can convince a few of my friends that this is the time for Hillary Clinton.
