My meanderings about politics, space exploration, cars, cats, tech things and whatever else strikes my fancy. To the current occupant of the White House, we will not be taken into war on anyone's leash.
Even though I was born in the last century actually in the middle of the last century I have never had to go out and hunt for my food. Since I was a child we would go into the store and find beautifully wrapped pieces of meat in the meat section of the store. So to me this notion that you needs guns for hunting is foreign.
So now we are facing another threat to the reason for having a gun. Beers that have been infected with a wasting disease. This wasting disease has not thankfully been transmitted to humans yet. I remember when AIDS was traced to African monkeys. Jumping across a species is not unknown for a predator virus.
So now I need to be convinced that guns are so necessary in our society. Really, what good are they other than to shoot other people? It makes no sense and what’s makes even less sense is why hunters and gun owners are so reluctant to be licensed just like we are driving a car. This idea that gun ownership is some an amiable right was true when the government could not fight back with more than a musket. Now the government can fight back with helicopters and weapons of mass destruction, what good would having a gun or rifle do against an armed government? None!
I’ve never been a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow. I’ve never been a fan of celebrities cashing in on their celebrity through fake or untrustworthy claims regarding products or even more importantly your health. And so here we are at the Nexus of both with Netflix being vehicle where this fake science is promoted.
People look up to celebrities, people should not look up to celebrities. And yes they do. I don’t understand why someone who has a large media presence or an online following should be looked upon as having some special knowledge. They don’t, they are humans and they put on their pants, if they put them on themselves, one leg at a time. so I call upon Netflix to make sure that’s it just yours and especially the viewers of this Gwyneth Paltrow pseudoscience goop is made aware that this is not real science and there should be a Giant disclaimer. The way Netflix is going of late I don’t think they will.
And most of all, Gwyneth Paltrow, please get a life.
Just like that dress that no one could tell what color it was or agree upon it, Donald Trump is that dress. But we can’t have a president that people are ambiguous about what he is saying. That’s how wars start and that’s how one of his blunders could have incredibly grave consequences. So when you think of Donald Trump and what he says think about that dress that no one could tell what color it was and you’ve got two things in common. Except that dress never asked you to vote for it.

And when asked about Bernie Sanders who said of Trumps remark it was just one of his stupid moments that the Press carries, Secretary of State Clinton said that that was unacceptable and that men and women in this country should stand up for a woman’s right to do what she feels is correct for herself. What are courageous dance she takes and frankly I’m ashamed at Bernie Sanders what he said.
