My meanderings about politics, LGBTQ COMMUNITY, space exploration, cars, cats, tech things and whatever else strikes my fancy. To the current occupant of the White House, we will not be taken into war on anyone's leash.
I am a firm believer in a non-dystopian future. Maybe that’s because I was raised on the likes of Star Trek. My parents always had a glass-half-full attitude about life and the future. I inherited that and for that I cannot be any more grateful to them. I say this because I am of the belief that sometime, and not too distant future, maybe 5 to 10 years from now, we will find out why Trump, and the Republican party fail under the grips of the Russians. On paper it makes absolutely no sense. Well Trump is a grifter so he’ll follow the money but the GOP? They have abandoned America first for this strange mish-mosh of fake nationalism coupled with oligarch threads running through them. Case in point they give a giant tax cut to the rich and leave the poor in our nation wanting for even more. Cutting back food stamps is there first step in cutting back on the deficit that they grew because of the tax cut to the rich. They will go after Medicare, medical or Medicaid depending on where you are and of course the Affordable Care act. Why does a party that is in theory voted in by people so anti people? I think the answer to that conundrum will come.
watching Trump divert billions of dollars from our military including construction at West Point, training AR military on use of advanced missile technology, Building bases throughout the world so that we can maintain a balance against Russia and China all seems to be the opposite of what the Republicans used to stand for and yet here we are.
I am going to be 64 in a week and I am quite aware that the internet exists. I just went on Ancestry and found the ticket to the USS United States that I took in 1962 from New York to Paris. Does the president United States think that his flight records or some sort of secret? It proves how incompetent. He should be nowhere near the Oval Office.
He is a liar, and a bad one at that. He said he did not spend a single night in Moscow and now here it is. I’m with James Comey when he said that if I we were married my wife would never believe that I was with hookers in a Moscow hotel having them pee on the bed the the Obama’s slept on. What a terrible man. He holds such hatred for others. I feel so sorry for him And his soul.
Sure Michael Bloomberg is a billionaire, the owner of a large media Empire, someone who ran has a Republican and then an independent for public office. Most importantly Michael Bloomberg is used by moderates as a man of the people. Remember he’s the guy who wanted to ban the sugary super-sized obesity creating sodas at fast food joints. He cares and he cares a lot and this is unprecedented. It’s very rare that a party will give someone from outside the party uprimetime speaking slot. Wednesday is the same day that Vice President Biden and President Obama will be speaking. This is how much the Hillary Clinton campaign understands how important his endorsement is. I believe that Independence will also understand how important his endorsement of Hillary Clinton is.
This is another statistic that shows that slow and steady with the economy is the best course. This is very bad news for both the GOP and Bernie Sanders. Both want to change how our economy works radically by either lowering taxes for the rich or raising taxes on everyone. Hillary Clinton is best suited to continue this stream of prosperity that the nation finds itself in after the Great Recession. Democrats are good for the economy. I’m not sure that that could be said about socialists or I am sure that is not true about what can be said about Republicans. Let’s be very clear here, when Michael Bloomberg said to help keep Cruz and Trump out of the White House, he was pointing his finger at Hillary Clinton. Who else is a progressive centrist? Oh I hear the Bernie Sanders supporters yelling right now but unfortunately for their candidate he must win three fifths of the total delegates that are available in primaries and caucuses for him to win the nomination. Anything else he’s going to be a spoiler and very soon it’s going to be time for him to say that he is leaving the race. AVB http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKCN0W92IB
