Living an apartment that overlooks The Broad museum has been a special vantage point. Since January I have witnessed, first hand, the completion a major Museum in downtown Los Angeles. Having been to the Skylit preview in February I thought I had a basic knowledge of what I would find. But the completed Museum is so much more than what I saw in the preview in February.
The most impressive part of this museum is the number of iconic works that grace its walls. Whether you’re interested in Andy Warhol or in Jasper Johns your taste for modern art will be satisfied at The Broad.
I was too late to catch the Infinity room and I look forward to visiting it in a future visit.
I hope that this glimpse into our city’s new Broad Museum of Modern Art will spur you to visit it and the MOCA across the street. Grand Avenue now has become a destination spot for tourists and locals alike. I thank the Broad Foundation for making this special place free admission to all.
