WIRED Endorses Optimism – WIRED

God I’m happy I have a subscription to WIRED.

That being said, it’s amazing how the scientific Community is rallying for Hillary Clinton’s candidacy. We need to step into the 21st century with gusto. And not go back to 19th century thinking. Yesterday Donald Trump praised the Industrial Revolution and forgot to mention the fact that it was a time of hardship for those who endure it. Wired Magazine has never endorsed a candidate before for president and yet they are endorsing Hillary because she is our future.

Please click on the link below and read their words and why they are endorsing Hillary Clinton.

Gallup Poll: RNC Turned Voters Away from Trump – The Daily Beast

Gallup polls used be the gold standard of polls. But their bias leaning towards the right has made them less relied upon. That being said this poll is from Gallup. I think it’s indicative of the fact that so-called establishment Republicans cannot stomach Donald Trump and what he is doing to their party. The Doom and Gloom convention that Trump has said was going to be his extravaganza was a total dud. It’s amazing now that it’s gotten bad reviews Trump said he had nothing to do with the production of the convention. Typical Trump lies. There’s an expression that says “the thief has the most locks on his door at home”. Donald Trump says that everyone lies because he lies more than anyone else.

In 4 days the Olympics begin. And hopefully they go without major disruptions. This will let the body politic think about what was said and then at these very well viewed conventions. That’s the point when people will cement their decisions on whom to vote for and I truly hope it’s Hillary Clinton.

Who Will Be President? – The New York Times

I start each of these blog posts with the same caveat. A week in politics can be like a year in real life. That being said, one of the best indicators of who is going to win the White House are polls taken in June and July of the election year.

Things can change, but with all of these unforced Errors By The Trump campaign it seems like a gargantuan task for them to get there shit together in time for November. They need to ramp up staff very quickly. Anything you do quickly is prone to error. And unless someone falls on his sword for this speech disaster with Melania the Trump campaign is going to be in shambles for a while. Could not happen do are more deserving man and campaign.

Let’s get real about West Virginia and the Democratic primary

The Democratic primary in West Virginia is meaningless. First West Virginia has not gone to a Democrat since 1992. Second of all if you look at 2008 you’ll see that Hillary Clinton who was in a much better position than Bernie Sanders won there by a landslide against then-senator Barack Obama. So please people, and especially Bernie bots, stopped cheering and acting like this is the win of the century. And news media let’s stop all of this whooping and hollering about the fact that Bernie Sanders won West Virginia. Point out the truth and so what happened in 2008 and who became the actual nominee for president of the United States.

Watch “President Obama at White House Correspondents’ Dinner 2016 FULL SPEECH” on YouTube

President Obama has been one of the best, smartest and most human president we’ve had in the White House. This video that includes a compilation of his greatest moments in the White House is testimony to that. I am very proud to have supported President Obama and I believe that his legacy will continue during the tenure of President Hillary Clinton. He and Michelle Obama made the United States look good to the world. Yesterday on the news here in Los Angeles they were asking people at Hollywood & Vine what they thought about Trump becoming president. Not a single Foreigner was positive about that possibility. They all said what I feel and that is that I am scared of Donald Trump period so I know and his last months in office President Obama is going to campaign for Hillary Clinton so hard and remind people why we voted for him twice.

Sanders faces tough sell in persuading superdelegates to switch allegiances

“Sanders faces tough sell in persuading superdelegates to switch allegiances”, and that is the understatement of this election season. Bernie Sanders has not been a Democrat until he wanted to become president. He claims that he has raised money for 3 Congressional Democrats, wow 3! Someone should explain to him how politics works. You rub my back I’ll rub your back. And Hillary Clinton has been a Democrat since 1964 and has raised this year 15 million dollars for down ticket candidates across the United States. And he thinks he’s going to be able to switch super delegates that count on this money for reelection. Bernie Sanders like his campaign is delusional.

Democrats Increasing Their Edge in U.S. Party Affiliation

There are Trump Democrats, they’re just not voting for Trump. These numbers are quite a change. Like last year Democrats were at 30% and Republicans were at 31%. For something that is as steady as party affiliation this is a sea change.
And by the way, the Gallup organization is very firmly in Republican hands.
