MSNBC Anchor Ayman Mohyeldin Pushes Back on Kelly O’Donnell After She Scolds Him On-Air Over Immigration – The Daily Beast

I’m not sure how Kelly O’Donnell sees the world. perhaps it’s because she has flaming red hair and comes from a country where immigrants are no longer attacked. let’s take the wayback machine a hundred years and see how Irish immigrants were being treated at the time by the US. I think that she was protecting are turf at the White House Press room. But I don’t know why anyone would need to anymore since the only time you hear from the White House is one a fat, sweaty, screaming old man stands in front of a helicopter and just blurts out whatever is on the top of his head. most of it is lies, isn’t that strange, most of what we hear from the White House are lies. So Kelly O’Donnell you should apologize to Ayman Mohyeldin since the countries his people come from are continuously attacked by a lying White House.

These are Tucker Carlson’s leading advertisers – Media Matters for America

I remember the first politically oriented boycott that I participated in was the Cesar Chavez grape boycott. As consumers of news programming we don’t have a lot of say on what we see or hear. So, it’s important that we vote with our dollars. People like Tucker Carlson who’s few lies and hatred on their shows need to be I told that this is not acceptable. I’m not talkin about not allowing him to speak but rather letting them find other platforms to do so. He has the second highest rated show on cable news. But right now his pop advertiser is the my pillow scam company. I find it interesting that anytime I see anyone on television wearing a religious object during an advertising immediately I think that there is something wrong here. My pillow is well known to be a poor product that causes people to get sick but there it is that giant cross on the my pillow spokesperson.

We have choices and if advertisers start seeing that we choose their competitors because of where they advertise they will find other places to advertise. this is very much like a game of whack-a-mole but still we need to make our voices heard.

O’Rourke says Trump should not visit El Paso in wake of shooting – TheHill

First and foremost let us not forget the victims of this weekend’s Carnage. The multitude of people they’ve left behind agreed and it’s going to take awhile for them to try to get their lives back honestly I don’t think they ever will.

Now to the politics of this. This weekend has been a boon for two people in my opinion. Trump benefits from the fact that although his statement was terrible his supporters are going to think that he did the right thing and looked, so-called presidential. Actuality he never really condemned white supremacist. He never said I cut them he says the nation must, a dog whistle to them. He never mentioned Latinos or Hispanics in this speech and I hate that has befallen them. He blamed a straw man, video games. It’s like the Republicans have these talking points and they know that thoughts and prayers has become unfortunately a cliche so now they’re using video games and mental illness. The real culprit are the assault weapons flooding our streets.

Trump fueled this killing spree and his going there is akin to an arsonist getting to go back to the scene of his crime. what Trump does with Trump does and he’s going to show up and do the most inappropriate things and his supporters will love him and those who don’t will it continue to despise him. I can’t hear his voice anymore, I prefer to be locked in a room with people scratching blackboards. On the plus side for Trump you haven’t heard the words Jeffrey Epstein, impeachment or Robert Mueller for a few days. And let’s not forget about the the ridiculous tariffs and trade war with China.

Beto O’Rourke is another one of those people that has benefited from this. And it’s not because it happened in his hometown, Tim Ryan is from Ohio and no one here’s anything about him. Tim Ryan suspended his campaign and to be honest I read that I hoped he had pulled out of the race. On the other hand Beto O’Rourke has been a great spokesman for his City, Texas and those who these terrorists have gunned down. He has been front and center all of the network coverage of this horrific event in El Paso. Is commentary wine above the normal rhetoric one hears and he truly made himself look good. I still wish he would run against cornyn senator up for taxes but that’s his decision to make.

There’s a lesson to be learned from this and all of these tragedies is that we need to make sure that those people we love know that and we always leave them with a smile on our face and no angry words because one never knows when we’ll see them again, if ever.

Chris Wallace presses Stephen Miller on ‘send her back’ chant at Trump rally – TheHill

I’m not calling Stephen Miller a Neo-Nazi but other neo-nazis think that he is a Neo-Nazi.

I’m not sure why they put Stephen Miller on the firing line with an interviewer like Chris Wallace who will not hold back. Is he falling out of grace? I don’t think so, I think they do this to show strength against the backlash of sentiments against the words in that infamous tweet saying that if the congresswomen were not happy they should go back to the countries they came from.

I don’t believe that the chant was organic in nature. If it had been organic in nature it would have been send them back just like the tweet but instead it said send her back because they knew saying send them back was not defendable. I’ve been in rallies and experienced how a crowd behaves, It was easy for the Trump campaign to plant a few people in the crowd to start the chant that they wanted and not the one the crowd wanted to start with. Not that asking a sitting member of Congress, a naturalized American citizen to go back to her country is okay, let’s not forget that Melania Trump came from Slovenia, with a genius Visa, overstayed that visa and now is first lady. A terrible one at that.

It turns out that Trump does have a campaign strategy for 2020 and that strategy is dividing the country as much as possible. I think he’s looking for a repeat of the summer of 1968. That was an ugly time in the United States and that Convention in Miami Beach for the Democrats was why we have in historya President Nixon as opposed to a president Hubert Humphrey.

Stephen Miller reminds me of Paul Joseph Goebbels, the propaganda Minister for adults Hitler. The man was very violently anti-semitic and was instrumental in the death of over eight million Jews.

Take the uniform off and you’ve got Stephen Miller.

The Wikipedia page says is best :

The ironic thing is that Stephen Miller is Jewish and should know better. But I guess racism is a disease that infiltrates the mind and does not see religion, color of the skin, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.

I’m not looking forward to the next five hundred or so days. It’s going to be an ugly time in our country hope and pray that we will survive Trump.

US largely supports “the squad” over Trump racism, data shows — Quartz

I’ve been watching news coverage mon amour ghost faces in the last few months. most of what I hear from the White House is so upsetting that it percolates into the rest of my life. That being said, I’ve been watching a show from Canada called the Murdoch mysteries. It takes place during a time of change during the turn of the 20th century. Cars were replacing horse and buggies, immigrants were coming into the country, and people were uncomfortable with the changes.

Change is uncomfortable but it is inevitable. The one thing that does not change is the fact that it doesn’t matter what color or skin is or what religion we are or who we love, we all knon prejudice. So when prejudice come screaming at us from the oval Office it’s unsettling to everyone unless they are die-hard racists. Sure that strategy might work for Trump with his 30 or so percent but it quicks to the core of the majority of Americans and it makes us feel if not squeamish downright discussed it.

Now he’s trying to walk back what he said but as this White House seems to want us to do they are telling us not to believe our lying eyes. He says that while his supporters were chanting those horrible words he was uncomfortable, the smile on his face does not look uncomfortable. But then again don’t believe your lying eyes.

From the day we understand that we are Americans we are told that this is a melting pot. We are proud of that and although others notably before World War I tried to turn the clock back it didn’t work. Make America great again was the slogan that the Nazi loving Charles Lindbergh tried to spew across the Nation. It did not work them and it will not work now.

I was discussing this with one of my wise friends, John, and we talked about how the rally in North Carolina was scheduled by Trump the same day they thought that Robert Mueller would be testifying in front of Congress and they thought that with his bully pulpit he would be able to wash some of what Robert Mueller had said about him. That plan failed but I guess you still thought it was a good idea to throw gasoline into a fire has this man in the White House seems to love to do.

It’s not just me anti-semitic and racist background of the make America great again slogan that bothers me, it has an assumption in it that America is not great already. Is that patriotic? Absolutely not.

Trump disavows ‘send her back’ rally chant, many Republicans alarmed – Reuters

When the late John McCain was running against President Obama a woman in the audience asked him if President Obama was a Muslim and whether or not he had not been born in this country, John McCain rightfully said no ma’am he is not a Muslim he is a good Christian I don’t agree with all of his use but he’s a good man.

last night Trump lead the cheers of send her back. He started it in a tweet saying to send back people who are born in this country and are naturalized citizens. so his trying to disavow what happened last night is very much what a dictator would do or a character in 1984. Don’t believe your lying eyes is what they’re telling us.

My favorite was when Mitch McConnell was asked about his wife and he ignored the questionof how he would feel if someone would tell his wife to go back to Taiwan as she is also a naturalized citizen. He completely went the other way and said basically her Wikipedia page.

Republicans lie for a living. It’s the only way they win it’s by cheating. They turned John Kerry from a war hero to the Swift boat person that everybody now thinks of. They tried hard 2 bring down President Obama but they could not. Unfortunately the lies they told about Hillary Clinton stuck. it’s funny how the Clinton foundation did good and there is never been a single whisper that money went into other people’s pockets. On the other hand Eric Trump is being charged with stealing money from a non-profit cancer organization!

Reporter presses McConnell on if it’s racist to tell his immigrant wife to ‘go back to her country’ – TheHill

I want to remind the much-maligned Main Stream Mediathat we the voters of the United States of America are their customers. Whatever happened to follow-up questions? it hurts me so much when I used to watch, I no longer watch it, meet the Press or any other of the talk shows in the morning and a question is asked it’s sidestepped and no follow-up is given. I understand that these politicians are blackmail in a way reporters by telling them that they’re not going to give them access if they ask hard questions. excuse me, the politicians need the media just as much as the media needs the politicians. If the mainstream media wants to keep us on their side they need to get a backbone something that seems to have slipped out of their collective bodies on January 21st 2017.

as far as Margaret Chao and Mitch McConnell’s answer or lack of one somebody needs to press him on this question. She came here immigrant not like three of the members of Congress that president asshole in the White House set to go back to their countries. He said that she came as an eight-year-old and learn the language. He forgot to mention that her family owns shipping companies in China and are multi-millionaires if not billionaires. oh poor Margaret Chao she came here as an 8 year old have to learn the language. My parents moved me to France when I was seven I learned the language, move back here when I was 12 didn’t speak a word of English and I learned a language oh me then?

Trump is a racist, Mitch McConnell is a racist and his wife should understand that but money in a republican household seem to matter more than their beliefs. I’m sorry I’ve come to understand that Republicans care more about money than anything else. I watched the former congressman from South Carolina say that he did not want to talk about Trump’s racism but rather about the fact that the budget was ballooning. When Chris Hayes asked him if he did not believe that when a Republican president was out of office and a Democrat was in the Republicans will start becoming fiscal Hawks he refused to answer. This is the same Mark Sanford that…

From June 18 until June 24, 2009, the whereabouts of Sanford were unknown to the public, his wife and the State Law Enforcement Division, which provides security for all South Carolina governors, garnering nationwide news coverage. The absence of Governor Sanford was first reported by Jim Davenport of the Associated Press.[37][38] Lieutenant Governor André Bauer announced that he could not “take lightly that his staff has not had communication with him for more than four days, and that no one, including his own family, knows his whereabouts.”[39]

Before his disappearance, Sanford told his staff that he would be hiking on the Appalachian Trail and while he was gone he did not answer 15 cell phone calls from his chief of staff, Scott English; he also failed to call his family on Father’s Day.[40]

Lindsey Graham: “I Don’t Care” If Migrants “Stay in These Facilities for 400 Days” {CAGES} | Vanity Fair

I have no words for this kind of language.

I have a theory.

In the summer of 2016 both the DNC and RNC we’re at by Russia. what happened to all the information that the Russians have on the Republicans? I think that Trump is being blackmailed by Putin and intern Trump is getting information fed about these Congress people and he’s blackmailing them. I’m at no point in my life been a conspiracy theorist but nothing makes sense right now other than there is something else pushing these people.

The only thing that will solve this is a well-educated electorate. The Republicans are cutting funding to education and as they dumb down the population the population will listen to the last thing they’ve heard and if they go out to vote in any election they will vote against their own special interest. This is systemic I hope that a blue Wave in 2020 including and state legislatures will allow for the systemic fix that we need so badly.

If we do not we will end up with in America that looks a lot like the Russian Federation or North Korea.

Walmart vs. Target: A Political Divide Among Shoppers – Morning Consult

As the Trump administration starts planning weekend rates on poor immigrant families and trying to suppress the census by insisting on a citizenship question why would the Latino community in the United States shop at Walmart? Walmart is based out of Arkansas and is owned by The waltons who give their money solely to the Republican party and help put this racist in Chief in office.

Target used to give most of their money to the Republican party but then in 2007 they changed their tune and became donors to the Democratic party. Look, as consumers we don’t have a lot of power but we do have the power to choose where we shop and shopping at Walmart is not even something I consider. I want shop at Walmart, walmart.com or Jet which is Walmart’s Amazon like online shopping service. On the other hand I buy everything I can at Target because Target that’s good for the community.

After Epstein fallout, Acosta’s critics warn of ‘troubling’ lack of resources for trafficking victims – NBC News

What is wrong with Acosta? Not only did he make this ridiculous deal for Jeffrey Epstein basically a work-study program instead of going to jail for a lifetime he is now putting all sex trafficking visas on slow motion.

I hope Congress deeps very dig into this man because there’s something very fishy. I understand the Trump administration’s fetish about immigrants, but my Lord, we are not giving people who are subject to sex trafficking Asylum? This makes no sense and please somebody do something about this.

There’s a hashtag that says the Trump administration is a international disgrace to the United States and this proves it.
