Trump’s convention stars: His kids – POLITICO

Look, I get it, he’s a father and very proud of his kids. But Trump’s kids have humongous problems in their history. The apples did not fall far from the tree in this case. They are ruthless and run his business like it’s a crime Empire. Then you throw in their penchant for killing endangered animals and we’ve got a trifecta here. At the end of the day the convention is not to bolster Trump’s kids it’s to make Trump look presidential. We shall see how all of this works in just a couple of weeks.

Trump fundraising emails overseas prompt complaints here and abroad – The Washington Post

Maybe one day when the Democrats have been in power for a very long time they will become underhanded. But for now the Republicans are Masters at cheating. Sending fundraising letters to foreign leaders is against federal election rules. Trump has the nerve to talk about Hillary’s emails when these emails are punishable by prison sentences. Republicans will say that some underling sent this and it was a mistake. And we the people are supposed to forget all about it. How embarrassing? To have members of parliament getting these emails in the middle of a crisis in their country. Donald Trump should not ever get near the White House. And is our duty As Americans to make sure that he doesn’t.

Canada’s Parliament Chants to President Obama ‘Four more years’

Oh Canada Oh Canada. Yes they were screaming for more years to our president. When you mix that in with the fact that only 14% of Canadians have confidence that Trump would make a good president you can understand then else tells you for our current president. Actually Canada sophomore of Donald Trump then almost every other country in the world. Only 3% of people in Greece thought that he had what it takes to be president of the United States, 5% in Germany 7% in France and the numbers go down and down. Republicans used to say that President Obama was only a superstar in foreign lands and yet he has the highest approval rating of any president at this time in his term and a very long time. I know Hillary will do a great job in the Oval Office but President Obama was one of a kind.

2016 Election Forecast | FiveThirtyEight

I guess today is going to be my day for polls. But this is a different poll this is a poll by it not only looks at who is in the lead but also How likely states are going to switch because in the end it’s the Electoral College stupid. So the map that I’ve attached shows you the United States based on population and degree that they favored red or blue and I think it’s going to be pretty clear to you how this thing is going to go. As always this is early in the election cycle we have four months before the election and 2 political conventions but 538 that Hillary has an 81% chance of winning the election in November. Let’s make sure it stays that way

First on CNN: Poll shows Clinton with battleground leads

I will say this many times before the elections. Polls this early mean nothing. But they feel good. That’s why I call them mental masturbation. I’ll say it again polls this really means nothing.  I keep getting yelled at by people who don’t read my blog post and just see the headline on Facebook.

RNC confusion: Despite report, boxing champ Mike Tyson isn’t coming to GOP convention – CNN

In his normal diplomatic way it seems that Donald Trump invited Mike Tyson then disinvited Mike Tyson in a bizarre, well this is Donald Trump, tweet.

The CNN reports that this aging if not plain old group of performers will be making appearances at the Republican National Convention. Some of the groups original members have all died. I can’t wait how this list stands up to who the Democrats will be having. Here is the list quoted from the CNN article:”And for entertainment at some of the ancillary events surrounding the official confab, look for Journey, the Beach Boys, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry  and Poison frontman Bret Michaels, Bloomberg reports. Other bands slated to perform at events in Cleveland include Kid Rock’s Twisted Brown Trucker Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd.” Since none of these groups are real favourite of mine it looks like I won’t be watching the RNC.

New Trump aide deletes #SleazyDonald tweets – CNN

Donald Trump is no longer in charge of his campaign. He must be miserable or just so power-hungry that he is willing to bring into his fold people that have insulted him over and over again like Jason Miller. In either case the trust cannot be very strong between these people. I like the moniker of sleazy Donald and may start using it myself.

Donald Trump’s morals are bankrupt and in the end it will be his undoing.

‘Amazing Race’ contestant heads to Oklahoma primary runoff – The Washington Post

I think the Republican Party should change its name from the Grand Old Party to the Reality Show Party or RSP. It makes complete sense. They could have a wide range of candidates from those appearing on American Ninja Warrior those appearing on Big Brother. With The Apprentice star at the head of the ticket their convention could be really entertaining. Aldo now I think about it I think their conventions going to be very entertaining this year.

Republicans may have just forfeited half their Senate pickup chances – The Washington Post the Washington Post

The United States Senate has 6-year terms. There are a hundred members of the Senate so every six years 34 of them are up for reelection. This is one of those years. Normally this is just one vote extra for this cycle. But this time around in 2016 out of 34 Senate seats available 10 are currently held by Democrats and 24 are held by Republicans. The Democrats need to send it back plus another 10 seats to make it filibuster-proof.

The state of Colorado is already purple. So when you get a conservative Tea Party candidate up for Statewide vote the Republicans have basically forfeited that seat to the incumbent Democrat.
